Message This Z is owned by Ray Smelich and I have to commend him on his dedication to keeping this Z alive. This Z has a very long build history. It's original owner Chin Vong who goes by Timz on ttnet, made one of the highest horsepower Z's of its time. Ray has had the Z now for a few years and has updated a lot of the older technology with some new products. Chin's build and dyno numbers can be found here. [[ [ http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=general&msg_id=1671644 ] ]] Ray has continued to pursue his dream and we are not finished just yet....

I have to give a special thanks to Chin Vong for building the current motor for the car and its previous set up. He does amazing work!

I would also like to thank Greg and Seb at Specialty Z for all there help in updating this Z and tuning it. You guys rock!

Also, thanks to all the innovators out there making great new parts to help us continue our passion.

His Z was tuned on 92oct pump, 110 race, C16 race, and E85.
These graphs show a comparison of all the fuels and power levels.
This was the first Z Specialty has tuned on E85. We were all happy with the results.
Amb temp was 110 and the car would only hold 24psi of boost due to temp and humidity.
The turbos will put out over 30psi under better conditions.

Here is a video Piranha made of it running at the 1/4mile strip in Phoenix. I didn't get as many runs as I wanted to that night, but we managed and 11.2 at 132 mph.

The journey continues...
We have a few things waiting to go on the car, and are planing on the next set of up grades.
It's getting a Toms front mount in place of the greddy, and possibly going to the 2200cc injectors and stand alone.
